During 3 days, 14 -16 September GreenSea participated in the first Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo in St. Petersburg. Our stand was well visited by various customers and with our participation we wanted to show GreenSea's commitment to continue serving the Russian fishing industry with our transport vessels. The fair was also used as discussion platform for industry stakeholders to debate about Russia's fishing industry strategy for the next 20 years. We are pleased to announce that 3 vessels have joined the GreenSea fleet as from beginning 2017. Bay Phoenix, Lagoon Phoenix and Water Phoenix will supplement the diversity of the portfolio of vessels under GreenSea control. These 3 sisters have 400.884 CBFT which provides for the largest capacity ships in our pool. The ladies are equiped with derricks and have a very shallow draft making them highly suitable for transhipment operation and trading to the most challenging ports.Read on
During the weekend of 15 and 16 October GreenSea Chartering participated in the PMA Fresh Summit 2016 in Orlando, Florida. We shared a booth with the Port of Canaveral at the Fresh Florida pavilion. This event, focused on fresh produce, is organized every year in a different city in the United States.
This year we started the 2 day conference with the Saturdays 06:30AM 5K morning run together with colleagues from our agencies of Seatrade USA and Seatrade Costa Rica.
GreenSea Chartering is active in the United States since the start of the company in 2012 with, amongst others, our monthly Fla Flu Liner Service, carrying frozen juice from Florida to Flushing.
Saturday 10th of September GreenSea Chartering joined the APC Marine BV runner’s team during the 26th Fish Potato 8 Miles Run between Dutch towns Urk and Emmeloord. Emmeloord is said to be the potato capital of the country and many of the potato exporters, our customers during the upcoming seed potato season, participated as well. APC Marine BV acts as one of the main shipbrokers for Dutch seed potato cargoes.Read on
Past saturday 27th of August, GreenSea hosted the 26th Maritime Volleyball Tournament in Antwerp. Various Dutch and Belgian maritme companies partcipated and 16 teams competed for the cup. It was Kloosterboer IJmuiden which won the tournament (just as last year). We enjoyed a warm and sunny day at the port of Antwerp. The tournament is hosted each year by another company at another place in Belgium or The Netherlands.Read on
